Difficulty changes the fight.
Not the loot.

Nintendo's public listing names three modes and gives one crucial rule: you may change difficulty at any time, and it affects combat rather than the loot you can get.

Tourist, Raider, and Survivalist.

These are Nintendo's three published difficulty names. Nintendo's page does not supply a complete public table of enemy values, timers, or mode-by-mode mechanics, so the useful guide is the confirmed rule rather than an invented numerical comparison.

01

Tourist

An official difficulty name. Nintendo has not published additional mechanical detail in the source used by this guide.

02

Raider

An official difficulty name. It should not be treated as a mandatory default without a cited recommendation.

03

Survivalist

An official difficulty name. The store listing does not publish a full public stat breakdown for it.

Change the combat challenge without locking away loot.

Nintendo says difficulty can be changed at any time. It also says difficulty affects combat, not the loot you can get. For a first-time player, that is the actionable decision: choose the combat pressure that feels right for the current run without assuming a reward penalty from the published information.

A named mode is not a complete difficulty spreadsheet.

The official listing supports the mode names, the ability to change difficulty, and the combat-versus-loot distinction. It does not, in the same source, verify specific health multipliers, spawn rates, unlock conditions, or a recommended setting for solo or co-op.

Safe to say

This is Nintendo's published distinction.

Safe to say

Loot is not affected.

Nintendo explicitly says the loot you can get does not change with difficulty.

Do not assume

Exact numbers or best setting.

Those require a separately attributable official or firsthand source.
